Samuel Siaw is a doctoral student in Ecological Anthropology at the University of Georgia, where his research focuses on agriculture, sustainability, and the intersection of food systems and environmental resilience. He holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School at Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana.
With over thirteen years of practical farming experience, Samuel brings a grounded, field-based perspective to academic inquiry. His work is driven by a deep commitment to addressing global hunger and advancing environmental stewardship. He has collaborated with several agricultural institutions, including the Tufts University Sustainable Agriculture Project, contributing to research and initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable farming practices.
